Zahid has been with Homefinders for almost 10 years. He initially joined Homefinders as Maintenance Manager and is now working in the capacity of Business Development Director. He has over 13 years' experience in the housing sector and is also a green deal assessor.
He is well-reputed for his inter-personal skills and the ability to diffuse even the most heated situations with his chilled-out attitude. He has the trust of many Landlords and he is also the best person to speak to, for any legal matters or property advice. He's known to have the effective ways to keep clients happy & satisfied.
Zahid speaks fluent Urdu, Hindi and French.
He previously formed part of the London Borough of Newham (HSSG), and he still has the backing of the top persons in Newham.
After doing his masters in Chemistry and working in various jobs that did not satisfy him, he joined the industry by luck in 1988 as a partner. He then set up his own company Homefinders in 1997. Well known in the community in Hackney and among the investors in East London. He is a member of NAEA and ARLA and accredited landlord.
Gurnam joined our team over a year ago as a negotiator but over time he has shown great skill in customer relations and has moved into an Inspection Officer role. He previously studied in Queen Mary University doing Computer Science; He is heavily involved with carrying out inspections and monitoring the condition and standard of our managed properties. He does also deal with our evictions and helps around our Head Office when he has time from his busy schedule.
In his spare time, Gurnam likes to attend Gym regularly, play Football and socialise with his friends.
Leena is our administrator working in our head office. It's her voice you will most likely hear first when calling! She does a little bit of everything for us including greeting our clients, rent collection, tenancy renewals, dealing with tenant & landlord accounts and making sure everything runs smoothly.

Matthew has been at Homefinders for just over 1 year, starting off as a Trainee Negotiator. With the guidance of the Homefinders family he quickly progressed to become the Lettings Manager of the Hackney branch. Having spent over 5 years in retail for a luxury brand, Matthew strives to carry over his interpersonal skills to both tenants and landlords. He also studied Business and Marketing Management at Oxford Brookes University. After reading a case study on the London rental market, it was at this point he realised he would like to pursue a career in the property industry. Although Matthew is not from Hackney, his love of the area would class him as a local.
Elcin is the person who allocates the rents, contractor invoices, any mistake on your statements, you can blame her.
She has a background in banking and then in Estate Agency for the last 10 years. You cannot contact her by phone as she works from home as a result of our policy of paperless office.
