Maintenance team

We have an excellent team of handymen, plumbers, an NICEIC registered electrician and a Gas Safe qualified heating engineer (some of our contractors have been with us for more than 14 years now). Our experienced maintenance manager oversees all work carried out to ensure it’s completed on time and on budget. We’re so confident with the work done by our contractors, that we guarantee anything we carry out.

 

24 Hours, 365 Days Cover

Security and safety is important to your tenants, and knowing that they can always get through to someone in an emergency provides this. We offer a 24hour emergency response service to all of our tenants, as it’s something we manage in house (as opposed to an insurance scheme) we can offer this to our landlords on a subscription basis where the only cost equates to £8.50 per month, or you can simply pay the call out fees if you need the service.

Tenants Prefer Managed Properties

Tenants are always scared of rogue landlords, renting a property through a registered agent offers them peace of mind. Using a registered agent is also the best way to find tenants for your properties, as those with something to hide usually avoid agents because of the checks we carry out.

 

Comprehensive Inspection Reports

Your tenants aren’t property specialists, our experienced inspection officer is. All of our management options include regular comprehensive inspections of your property, with photos taken and logged each time. We will inform you of any problems with the property that need attending to, and any developing issues you should be aware of. Inspections are a great way of providing peace of mind to your tenants, and ensuring that your property is being looked after.

Legal Support

Sometimes things go wrong, when they do we’ll be right beside you to help you resolve your problem. Our management team have extensive experience in handling accelerated possession cases, filing paperwork, and attending hearings. We also work closely with one of the best property law specialist advocacy teams in the country who, to date, have won everything we’ve needed their help with.

Homefinders is like no other agent I’ve ever met. They have delivered an exceptional service to me as a landlord. They’ve found really reliable tenants and have done so quickly (no more than a couple of weeks void). When things need repair, Homefinders ask first but then get a good job done at very reasonable cost (other agents would be happy with the most expensive option, with a kick-back). Small jobs cost me nothing, it’s all in my £1 a week subscription! Above all though, I know that these people care. They aren’t just trying to make a fast buck but really work at finding good homes for people who need them. Part of this is taking all the nuisance away from a landlord, making sure everyone gets a fair and reasonable deal. I’d recommend Homefinders to anyone – landlords and tenants alike.
