By putting large numbers of property under one block policy we managed to get the cheapest deal. Unfortunately this is only available for our managed properties.
It covers accidental and malicious damage by tenant (up to a max £5,000), loss of rent, alternative accommodation, legal expenses etc with an excess of £100. It is available for all kinds of tenancies including Housing Association and Local Authority Leases, DSS tenants, students etc.
The cost is £1.20 per £1,000. £100,000 cover will only cost £120 per annum.
Alternatively, if you prefer individual cover for your property separately, we have teamed up with Deacon Insurance to get better deals for you
This cover gives you accidental and malicious damage by the tenant, landlords contents, legal expenses, loss of rent cover with an excess of £250. Full policy wording is available on request.

Homefinders is like no other agent I’ve ever met. They have delivered an exceptional service to me as a landlord. They’ve found really reliable tenants and have done so quickly (no more than a couple of weeks void). When things need repair, Homefinders ask first but then get a good job done at very reasonable cost (other agents would be happy with the most expensive option, with a kick-back). Small jobs cost me nothing, it’s all in my £1 a week subscription! Above all though, I know that these people care. They aren’t just trying to make a fast buck but really work at finding good homes for people who need them. Part of this is taking all the nuisance away from a landlord, making sure everyone gets a fair and reasonable deal. I’d recommend Homefinders to anyone – landlords and tenants alike.
